COOL RETRO STUFF MY MOM GAVE ME: TRIPOD CANDLE HOLDERS

This summer when my parents came for Christmas in July, my Mom gave me these cool retro candle holders. They fairly are heavy. I’m guessing they are made out of iron.

My Mom had even kept them in the original box! It doesn’t have a year on it, but apparently they were hand crafted in Japan for the Hallmark Company.

The box is just about as cool as the candle holders in my opinion, but that could be the graphic designer in me talking.

To me, they look like mini rocket ships ready to blast off the dinner table. Definitely a keeper!

Thanks Mom!

  1. Glad I kept the box and that you like them. Bought them in the early ’70s because I thought they were very cool. πŸ™‚ Enjoy! … and you’re welcome!

  2. Your Mommy rocks! My Mom is also into vintage / thrift and is starting to come around to the vintage modern thing. She sells in antique malls and has noticed the “uptick” in interest of “mid-century-modern” both via my blog as well as the auctions, booths and sales she’s seen. She’s always had great taste and kinda looks out for stuff for me too. She got me my first barware sets!
