Well it’s that time of year again. The time of the year when all the leaves turn colors before they fall off the trees.

It is one last blast of color before the white of winter takes over…

My favorite tree is at it once again…putting on a spectacular show for me (and the neighbors).

Last year, the whole tree was bright yellow, but this year it is much more exciting! Half the tree is red

…and the other half is yellow-orange!

The cheerful colors outside give way to something creepy just behind that door… w o o !

Look how spooky it is!

Do you know what time it is adorable husband Jim???

What? Since when have you ever mentioned dusting before???

No! It’s time to celebrate Fall-O-Ween! See, I’m not the biggest fan of Halloween. Sure, some years I get into it, dress up, carve pumpkins, etc. but usually I like to celebrate the fall season much more. I spend as much time as I can outside soaking up the color. I love fall! I spend so much time outside looking at the trees, that I don’t have time to buy Halloween decorations, so this is the extent of my spookiness.

I think the spiderweb fabric goes well with the Brasilia…since the arches are kind of web-like…

Some people…er…dogs just don’t understand the festivities…

…but for all of you who love this holiday

  1. Wow, what a great dining room you have! (All the best stuff really is in the midwest, isn’t it? It certainly isn’t in Utah.)
