DREAMING OF A RIDE ON A RETRO PADDLE BOAT

It has officially been summer for about a week now. Tomorrow it is supposed to be about 100 degrees. We haven’t had a drop of rain here in weeks. Do you know what sounds good right about now?
How about we hop back to 1964 (Yes, I realize I wasn’t even born yet) and take a ride on this retro paddle boat complete with yellow shell chair seats! Isn’t this the coolest paddle boat you’ve ever seen?
Mom, you and Nana sure were lucky to be able to take this out for a spin! Oh what I wouldn’t give for a ride around a refreshing lake in this retro cool boat.
One can dream, right?

Esther Williams makes a nice retro bathing suit. They are very flattering too! I have one (red with white polka dots) and it is the only bathing suit I have actually looked forward to wearing!
We live by a lake and lots of people have paddle boats, but I have yet to see one as cool as that! My boyfriend and I have always wanted a paddle boat and now I may have to search for a vintage one.

I saw some paddle boats this weekend and really wanted to take a ride. We were at a birthday party so I thought it would have been a little rude to have left it for a ride in the lake. The retro boat is way cooler than the newer ones!
Gotta love a paddle boat ride! Too bad they don’t make ‘em like this anymore!
